Sample take-home guide

The kind of simple recap you can use after a session.

This example uses a Zoom appointment. Your real guide is based on the task and device we work on together.

Example only

Joining my Zoom appointment

Device: iPhone  •  Goal: Join from the invitation email with camera and sound working

  1. Open the invitation email.Confirm the sender and appointment details before opening the link.
  2. Tap the Zoom meeting link.If asked, choose “Open” to continue in the Zoom app.
  3. Check the display name.Use the name the appointment host will recognize.
  4. Join with audio.Tap “WiFi or Cellular Data” if Zoom asks how to connect sound.
  5. Use the two controls I need. The microphone button controls mute. The camera button controls video.
If something feels wrong: Do not share passwords or verification codes in a meeting. Leave the call and contact the organization using a phone number you already trust.

My practice step: Open Zoom once before the appointment and confirm the app is signed in or ready.

Every guide is different

Short enough to use. Specific enough to help.

Guides avoid storing passwords, codes, financial information, or other sensitive details. They document the process you practiced, not private account contents.
